Before you book
How early should we get in touch?
Ideally as soon as your date and venue are set. Popular Saturdays between May and September are often booked a year ahead.
How much does a wedding story cost?
That depends on how long I’m with you and where you celebrate. I don’t do fixed packages. You’ll get a quote that fits your day exactly. The first call, editing every photo and the online gallery are always included.
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely. Before you book, we’ll have a relaxed chat by video call or in person. That way you’ll know whether we click.
How does booking work?
You send me your date and I’ll tell you whether I’m free. After our chat you’ll get a quote and a contract. Your date is secured once the deposit of [X %] has been paid.
Are there travel costs? Do you travel abroad?
Travel within [X km] of Augsburg is included. For longer distances and weddings abroad, travel and accommodation are added if needed. It’s always listed in your quote beforehand.
On the day
How long will you be with us?
As long as you like, from a short registry office ceremony to the whole day. For a story from getting ready to the first dance, [8 to 10] hours usually works well.
We don’t like being in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Most couples feel that way. Because I mostly observe, you usually forget about the camera after a few minutes.
Do you take group photos?
Yes. Send me a short list beforehand of who should be in which photo. Then it goes quickly and everyone is soon back with their drinks.
What if it rains?
Then it’ll be beautiful in a different way. We’ll plan beforehand where we can find good light even in the rain.
Do you bring a second photographer?
[On request, through a trusted partner. For large weddings it’s worth it, because we can be in two places at once.]
What happens if you fall ill?
[For emergencies I have a network of photographers who can step in.]
Do you offer video?
Yes, through trusted partners. Just mention it when you get in touch.
After the wedding
When do we get our photos?
After [X weeks] you’ll get a private online gallery. There you can download every photo in full resolution and share it with family and guests.
How many photos will we get?
That depends on the length of the day. For a full day it’s usually [400 to 600] edited photos. I’d rather give you a strong selection than ten almost identical shots.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes, every single one. Natural colours, no heavy filters. You should still love looking at your day in twenty years.
Do we get the RAW files?
[No. RAW files are unfinished raw data. You get all the good photos fully edited.]
What are we allowed to do with the photos?
Anything private: print them, share them, post them, put them in an album. The copyright stays with me. For commercial use, just ask.
Will you show our photos on your website?
Only if you explicitly agree. Without your approval, your photos stay private.
